Judy and Andrew Cameron are passionate about the jewellery business and have been helping customers for 20 years. Over those years, Judy and Andrew have developed and deepened their expertise in custom design jewellery and remodelling through their participation in specialised design and diamond cutting courses and travelling widely to build their knowledge of the jewellery industry.
Andrew, the diamond doctor, is a Graduate Gemmologist, Certified Diamond Grader, Qualified Diamond Technologist and an appointed Antwerp Diamond Broker. “It’s a good feeling, it’s not just about selling, and there are a lot of technical components to the jewellery industry.”
Judy, with 40 years’ retail industry experience, takes pride in her custom made jewellery. “Custom design jewellery is what I love to do – it brings to life jewellery that is uniquely yours.”
In addition to the principals, Cameron’s Fine Jewellers has an onsite manufacturing jeweller who brings a wonderful talent into the company with a creative mind and passion for the industry is unsurpassed.
Not only do they travel periodically to Antwerp to buy diamonds for their customers’ requests, as manufacturing jewellers they source diamonds for their own in-store collection and to supply repair needs for clients at the best possible prices.
Whatever the special occasion, be it engagement, wedding, anniversary or “self-reward”, Cameron’s Fine Jewellers help their customers to create their own stunning jewellery pieces, that is, something unique and personal.
Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology offers the customer images of what the final piece will look like even before the physical manufacturing commences.
Jewellery that is no longer used can be restored to its former glory or remodelled into a functional piece to be worn again.
