Dean Walker Designs opened in 2007 as a jeweller and art gallery. Dean has 28 years’ experience in the jewellery industry and, together with a team of talented and friendly jewellers, offers inspiring works of art, glass art, and of course jewellery. Handmade custom jewellery design and manufacture is a speciality.

There is an extensive range of beautiful pieces on display for customers and there is always the opportunity for commissioning one-off items. Dean has had items on show at the Academy Awards. Currently Dean makes custom high-end pieces that come with their own short story. Dean writes the jewellery item and the client into the plot thereby giving more meaning to the purchase. For this particular type of commission, there is a minimum spend of $20,000. One such piece won the International Opal Jewellery Design Awards, Fantasy Award – “Invisible Dragon”, which is valued at $48,000.
When taking a break from handmade custom jewellery design, Dean enjoys writing, art, Sci Fi, Fantasy, reading and gaming.
